- Halikaarnian: Of, or relating to, Saunt Halikaarn or any of the other orders that claim descent from the Semantic Faculties. Frequently seen as natural opponents of Procians and Faanians.

In the fundamental Arbrean schism of Syntactic v. Semantic theorics, which corresponds to the Terran ontological divergence between Realism and Nominalism, Halikaarnians would agree with the Realists, as they believe that entities in the cosmos have inherent meaning or existence independent of that which consciousness-bearing systems project upon them.
