Earth is the planet visited by the Daban Urnud in approximately 2028 (50 years after the death of Kurt Gödel) during the second Advent of its polycosmic journey. It is initially referred to as "Antarct" by the Avout, and then as "Laterre" after the unmasking of Jules Verne Durand. Laterre, which is the term Durand uses, is a compression of "la terre," French for "Earth."
